Quick Fix For Sluggish Chrome

extensions3Two Low-Tech Solutions:

1. Close as many open
….Tabs (up top) as
….you can.

2. Disable your.Extensions

Top right hamburger menu,
come down to “More Tools”,
then “Extensions”

Remove (or Disable) as many Extensions as possible.

In simplest terms – we get better speed when we run only one tab and no extensions (but what fun is that?)  Just like a person carrying two bricks walks faster than someone carrying a dozen.

Commentary:  Often – it’s the fun stuff (maybe even “necessary” stuff) which slows us down!

Consider which goodies are you willing to leave behind, so you can travel faster?

If you’d like to read more into the technical issues – here are some helpful, “layman-friendly” sources (stripped of that confusing techno-babble).

How-To Geek, Chron, Fixed By Vonnie, MakeUseOf and of course – a little company called Google.
